A Nurses’ Registry is ready for Hurricane Season. Are you?

At the start of care for each of our clients, an individualized emergency-evacuation plan is formulated based on the specific needs of the client.

The following is also documented in this plan:

  • Physician’s orders and recommendations
  • Medical Diagnosis, if applicable
  • Allergies, if any
  • Physical limitations, if applicable
  • Personal Preferences
  • Client’s medications and treatment
  • Client’s medical supplies and equipment
  • Transportation needs in the event of an evacuation


A Nurses’ Registry will provide a caregiver, if needed, who is able to remain with the client for an extended period of time (until the emergency is over). This service is provided whether or not evacuating with A Nurses’ Registry to their chosen facility or to a different location chosen by the client. 

A Nurses’ Registry will arrange accommodations for the client and their family to a safe location. Accommodations for clients with pets are also available, based upon availability.
